"What If This is Who I Am?" words and music by Gary Driskell everyone has gone to bed and the usual thoughts fill up my head of all that I can do here in the leisure of these moments a hundred cable channels plus or another game of mindlessness or i could surf the net for other interesting bestowments the Maker of the universe waits right here in the room no telling what He might have there for me among the crowd i say that i adore Him and seek Him but when i’m alone, do my actions agree? what if this is who i am? what if this is what i love? what if this is more about my worship than i care to think of? what if this is what i eat? what if this what i breathe? what if this is more about the deepest core of what i believe? what if this is who i am? drivin’ down the road with music pumpin’ through my radio or sometimes i digress to AM talk show yada yada i think about the day and how things might turn out this or that way fears that might be real, but my control of which is nada once again a most almighty Friend is here with me and i could just enjoy His company at times the prayerless days go by cause life gets so busy what do my choices say about me? what if this is who i am? what if this is what i love? what if this is more about my worship than i care to think of? what if this is what i eat? what if this what i breathe? what if this is more about the deepest core of what i believe? what if this is who i am? i don’t know the answer, but the question’s shakin’ somethin’ up inside me, yeah no, i don’t know the answer, but the question’s wakin’ somethin’ up inside of me, yeah what if this is who i am? what if this is what i love? what if this is more about my worship than i care to think of? what if this is what i eat? what if this what i breathe? what if this is more about the deepest core of what i believe? what if this is who i am? what if this is what i love? what if this is more about my worship than i care to think of? what if this is what i eat? what if this what i breathe? what if this is more about the deepest core of what i believe? what if this is who i am?
